FASTRONE Scientific Instruments and Technology Limited Company was established in 2022 with the support of TÜBİTAK’s BİGG 1512 program through its project titled “Astronomical Seeing Monitor.” The company’s main field of activity is the production of scientific and astronomical equipment. The Astronomical Seeing Monitor is a scientific measurement device used to evaluate observation quality in observatories and has become the first domestically produced seeing monitor in Türkiye, manufactured by our company.
At FASTRONE, in line with our mission to offer pioneering solutions in the fields of science and technology, we focus on developing innovative products and addressing the needs of the sector. One of our production plans, the All Sky Camera (ASC), had its design and software phases completed in the first half of 2023. Additionally, the Artificial Star, produced by our company, is a significant astronomical device used for telescope collimation indoors regardless of weather conditions. This instrument, with its adjustable 50 µm fiber-optic light source, simulates starlight and allows precise collimation of telescope mirrors indoors without waiting for clear skies.
